Event Details
The London Quantified Self group has been growing steadily from its humble beginnings in September 2010. Many have found their way to the QS meetups which bring together fascinating people with much to share. Many more are self-quantifying, self-tracking and self-hacking without realising that's what they are doing and that they are not alone. The meetups also highlight several recurring topics that need to be addressed sooner rather than later.
The Self-hacking day event on 9th June is designed to give us more time and space to discuss these topics, bring more people together around self-hacking and quantified self and make it worthwhile for those who are from further afar to join us.
Morning sessions will focus on the (meta)issues that are rarely covered in meetups due to the Show&Tell format such as personal data ownership, privacy and security, sharing, exportability, interoperability, data analysis and visualisation and more.
Afternoon sessions will be Open Space allowing those who want to talk about any topic close to their self-quantified heart and gather others around it.
Lunch is included and will consist of sandwiches as well as tea, coffee and water, which will be available throughout the day.
